My name is Linda Townsend and I am an Abogada. I cannot possibly imagine that you may have even the slightest interest in where (Spain, in fact) and when I qualified, but you do need to know that I am a
qualified lawyer and have been solving people’s problems here in Calpe for about 30 years!

Although I deal with general civil law subjects such as Wills, Taxes, Tenancy Agreements, Contracts etc., there are two areas in which I specialise: Property Conveyance and Inheritance matters. If you plan to buy a property in this area, this means that I will leave no stone, not even a pebble, unturned, until I am certain that your property transaction is finalised and that you have a totally legal and completely trouble-free title to your purchase. With regards to inheritance, you need to understand how Inheritance tax is calculated and the big differences there are between being resident and non-resident; despite what you may read in certain publications, if you are resident inheritance tax is, in most cases, negligible.
