We are thrilled to present to you the 2011 Northwest Special Recreation Association (NWSRA) and Special Leisure Services Foundation (SLSF) Annual Report. As you will discover throughout the following pages, it was an exciting year for us. We were proud to name Tracey Crawford as the Executive Director of NWSRA and President of SLSF. With her leadership, we look forward to continuing to provide quality, friendly and professional recreation services to our participants and their families.


A year full of camps, clubs, outings, sports and trips created thousands of memorable experiences throughout the year. NWSRA is committed to helping people celebrate their lives, and we could not do that without your support. Thank you for all that you do — volunteering for us, making a fi nancial donation or being a part of our programs.


SLSF continued to support the mission and goals of NWSRA. Because of funding raised through SLSF events, individual donations, grants and sponsors, NWSRA is able to provide excellent recreational opportunities to thousands of children and adults with disabilities. In 2011, your support helped us secure new adapted equipment, provide team uniforms, purchase new accessible vehicles and so much more.


As we look ahead to the challenges and opportunities the new year will bring, we are excited to have you join us as we strive to ensure that all of our participants can make friends, have fun, be included, learn new things, go new places and most importantly, celebrate their lives.
