On cue: Women from Youth Action called into Frames Snooker Hall in Belfast city centre to give VIEW a preview of a new work called ‘Fitted and Tailored’. The art installation was created by YouthAction Northern


Ireland’s Gender Equality Unit to commemorate International Women’s Day on March 8 this year One hundred tailor dummy busts (about 30cm high) were designed and decorated by young women as a comment on self-image, representation of young women, issues they face, and aspirations. The ‘busts’ can be viewed at the PS2 art gallery, Donegall Street, Belfast, from March 5 to March 10.
