The South Hams Citizens Advice Bureaux exists to serve the local community and provide free to all individuals an impartial service of information, guidance and support. The main categories of enquiries are social security, consumer rights and debt, housing, employment, family and personal and legal advice. The bureaux is staffed with trained volunteers who have the back-up of information files which are prepared centrally by the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux. These are updated every month.
