RENAULT TO GIVE

ONE LUCKY STUDENT UP TO £9,000 TOWARDS UNIVERSITY TUITION FEES

As buzz continues to grow for one of 2012’s most eagerly-anticipated cars – the 100% electric, two seater Twizy, Renault has launched a competition with a top prize to delight college and university students alike up and down the country. The French marque has launched a design competition for the new electric runabout, with one lucky winner set to receive enough money to cover a years’ worth of tuition fees (imagine the amount of supermarket own- brand baked beans you could buy with that kind of money …)

Open to current Higher Education students as well as Further Education students making the step-up this autumn, the top prize will see Renault hand over enough money to cover the winner’s tuition fees for a year. The second prize is a weekend for two in Paris, with the third prize winner taking home £250

in French Connection vouchers. Now that’s what we call a good start to 2012!

Renault will be visiting four campuses around the UK with a Twizy:

• University College London – Mon 13th February

• Birmingham City University – Tues 14th February

• Manchester Metropolitan University – Thurs 16th February

• University of Glasgow – Fri 17th February

Students throughout the UK are encouraged to visit www. designatwizy.co.uk to download a template of the car and let their creative juices flow. They have until 20th February to submit their designs for the Twizy and can enter as many times as they like in the hope of scooping one of three prizes. Full entry details, including terms and conditions, are available on the website.

A Renault-appointed judging panel will whittle down all of the entries to find their top 10. It will then be

up to the general public to cast their votes via www.designatwizy.co.uk to find the lucky winners who will be announced on 16th April 2012.
