Westco Productions--As part of its Gold Star Concert series, Westco Productions brought Tony Award winning Broadway star Sutton Foster to the Irvington Town Hall Theatre in yet another sold-out event for the White Plains-based theater company.

Hudson River Museum--On September 25, the renovated Joyce Greene Education Center at the Hudson River Museum, Yonkers, was unveiled. The Center, which serves over 25,000 students a year, now contains four modern, well-equipped workshop/classrooms and a multifunction room for meetings, seminars, and lectures. From left, Museum Director Michael Botwinick; Ken Jenkins, Chair, Westchester County Board of Legislators; Museum Board Chair Jan Adelson; Patricia McDow, Yonkers City Council Member District 1; Philip Amicone, Yonkers Mayor; Museum Trustee Joyce Greene; Chuck Lesnick, City Council President; Andrea Stewart Cousins, New York State Senator; and Wilson Terrero, Yonkers City Council Member - District 2. The project was funded by the City of Yonkers.


Choral Arts Society--In 2010, two of Westchester's oldest choruses - the Westchester Concert Singers and the Choral Arts Society - merged to form the 90-voice Hudson Chorale, the largest mixed-voice chorus in the County. Under the musical direction of Michael Conley, the larger group will explore an even wider range of the choral repertoire for the enjoyment of both singers and audience members alike. The inaugural concert of the new group, will feature the beloved Brahms German Requiem on Sunday, January 23, 2011, at 4pm at the Horace Greeley High School. www. HudsonChorale.org

The Museum of Arts & Culture (New Rochelle)--The museum hosted a new, original exhibition entitled “Harlem? Harlem! Dance Theatre of Harlem 1969-2010.” which included a special benefit performance by the Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble on June 19.
