Nurse Advisor – Cancer and Blood Services Auckland District Health Board, Auckland, New Zealand
Join us in this strategic leadership role as we work towards the vision of becoming a fully integrated Cancer Care Centre.
The public regional Cancer and Blood Service is based at Auckland City Hospital and provides services to Northland, Waitemata, Auckland and Counties Manukau District Health Boards with a combined population of 1.6 million people.
Providing secondary, tertiary and quaternary services, we have a strong commitment to teaching, research programmes and clinical collaboration between the Oncology (Medical and Radiation), Haematology and Palliative Care departments.
You will be working in partnership with the Service Manager and Clinical Directors for operational performance and implementation of the Cancer and Blood strategy to become a fully integrated Cancer Care Centre, utilising tumour stream models of care.
You are a Senior Nurse with extensive experience in the following key areas: Strategic planning and workforce development Project management Proven nursing leadership Exceptional communication skills Proven experience facilitating and managing change at an operational level

We have current full-time and part-time job opportunities for skilled Mental Health Nurses within our Acute Adult Inpatient Unit and Community Mental Health Services.
Vacancies within the community mental health services cover a range of roles including Case Manager, Community Acute Services, Assertive Community Outreach Service and Referrals Management nursing posts.
We welcome interest for three to six month fi xed-term within Acute Inpatient Unit. Try us out on a fi xed-term before making a long-term commitment.
