Letters toWT Sincere thanks for publishing the story of Ruslan

in your May/June 2011 issue entitled, “Treating Lyme Holistically.” [As his veterinarian,] I am delighted to report that Ruslan at 21 years old has had a complete recovery from Lyme Disease following his holistic therapies including BICOM bio-resonance treatment. His Lyme Multiplex test at Cornell University AHDL in July 2011 is completely negative. I had the opportunity to observe his return to dressage competition at the Southern New Hampshire Dressage and Combined Training Association summer show in July in which he took a second place ribbon in his class! After 10 or 11 years of retirement he returns successfully to what he was trained to do. Regina M. Downey, DVM

and I was absolutely delighted with the article about the stallion Nico in your July/ August issue. Sherry Koella is a warm and practical person; I haven't met Jon. I did meet Nico, which was a treat given that he is the sire of my filly. The end of December was a sad time [due to their fire and losses]. Rebuilding will be extremely difficult, but I think they can make it. Thank you for printing the article. I also enjoyed reading about Trakehners—it was very

educational. I'd also heard disparaging comments once ("She's a black Trakehner mare—that's three strikes"), but the mare in question turned out to be a very impressive mover when properly handled. Also, it never occurred to me that Trakehners were the only German Warmblood breed without a geographic center. I wish you continued success with Warmbloods Today. Roger Stranc, Camden, SC

That’s why we start with the best — to obtain the best quality in our breeding program. Our horses are closely related to top Olympic sport horses of the breed, namely Oleaje and Evento; as well as International Champion, Invasor III.

It’s no wonder they are so incredible. At least we think so. See for yourself!
