Audra McDonald was
Arts Center Broadway and television star Audra McDonald, whose singular career
cemented with Tony Award-winning
performances on Broadway in the musicals Carousel and Ragtime, and the plays Master Class and Raisin in the Sun, will be coming to The Performing Arts Center (PAC) at Purchase College on Saturday, October 29. Her concert will be a gala event to raise funds for the PAC’s programs. It will feature songs from her new solo album, along with classic works by Gershwin, Rodgers & Hammerstein and contemporary theater songwriters. For more info, visit

Morning Glory Foundation Supports High School
Students in Need Cheryl Bernstein, local artist and resident of Bedford Corners, presents her photography at an exhibition currently on display at The Flying Pig restaurant in Mount Kisco. All net proceeds from the sale of her
gallery pieces will be donated to the “Morning Glory Foundation.” Formed by Ms. Bernstein to support fine arts and academic excellence, the "Morning Glory Foundation" provides scholarships to local high school students in need. The program includes Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No. 3, Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations, Dvorák’s Rondo, and Elgar’s Enigma Variations. Rarely heard in most performances of ‘Enigma’ is an optional part written for the pipe organ. The Philharmonic will literally be “pulling out the stops” when it rolls out the PAC’s magnificent 21,000 lb
