It seems we are constantly organizing our scrapbook supplies, trying to find the best/better storage solutions for our can not live without supplies. This month its all about our ribbon, lace and trim. Organizing, is coming up with a solution and maintaining the system that works best for you.
Being creative, we already see everyday things in a different light, and are able to take something from everyday use and transform it to our needs. Kristine McKay shares A simple yard sale find and a little creative imagination we have gone from this to that:
Simply remove the middle shelf, prime
and paint to your desired color. Decou- page several sheets of scrapbook paper to the back, panel. Three small curtain spring-rods and after placing the de- sired spools of ribbon on each rod, they have been twisted them into place in- side of the shelf.
Don’t have furniture space? Color co-ordinate your ribbon
and store them In mason jars or up cycle any other jars. Another wonderful idea is to color code them and store in a storage cart drawer.
