The white enamel dial with black hourly Roman numerals, a thick and heavy gold case marked RW-F, 18k numbered 1228/8386. 23 jeweled movement numbered 8386, movement bezel marked sonnerie silence, petite sonnerie and grand sonnerie. The inner case back is inscribed “MEMORIAM J.J. JOHN ESQ QC, RECORDER OF CHICHESTER, TO SIR ROBERT RAPER HT,
