Bloomberg launches Currency Sukuk Index

loomberg has launched the Bloomberg Malaysian Foreign Currency Sukuk Index, a non-ringgit denominated index developed in conjunction
with Bank Negara Malaysia. The new Bloomberg index provides a global benchmark for the performance of sukuk bonds and the ability to track movements of foreign currency issues.

The BMSSUTR index consists of foreign currency sukuk issues listed on Bursa Malaysia or on the Labuan International Financial Exchange. The index gives fund managers the ability to conduct performance attribution, helping to manage their foreign currency exposure. It includes investment-grade Malaysian foreign currency sukuk priced in U.S. dollars.

Schroders adds to Fixed Income team
S
chroders has appointed Bob Jolly to a new role on its À[HG LQFRPH WHDP DV +HDG RI *OREDO 0DFUR EDVHG in London. Jolly will also take on lead portfolio
management responsibility for a number of macro and multi-sector portfolios managed by a team of ten in London. Current mandates include aggregate, sovereign and absolute return strategies with nearly $15 Billion of assets under management. Bob will also work with regional portfolio managers in Asia and the US to further develop Schroders’ global macro investment framework.
