Exclusive ties up with Zipper
Exclusive Media Group (EMG) has signed a first-look deal with Undefeated producers Zipper Bros Films ahead of the film’s screening in Toronto tonight. The partners will develop,
finance and produce up to two documentaries per year with a distinct social purpose. Titles will be produced under Exclusive’s documentary label, Spitfire Pictures. Film Movement grabs Historias

drama, about life in an old-fash- ioned community confronted by modernity, screened here follow- ing its world premiere in Venice.

Gartenstein and VP of acquisitions and distribution Rebeca Conget negotiated the deal with Pierre Menahem and Juliette Lepoutre of MPM Film. Film Movement plans a second quarter 2012 launch and will roll out on limited release day- and-date with VoD.

Well Go picks up two from CJ Well Go USA has bought the South Korean pair of My Way and Tarbosaurus from CJ Entertainment. The distributor took North American DVD, digital, VoD and television rights to Kang Je-gyu’s action war drama My Way and has earmarked an early 2012 release.

Stamm to helm 13 remake IM Global has hired The Last Exorcism director Daniel Stamm for 13, its remake of Thai horror thriller 13: Game Of Death. Stamm and writing partner David Birke are adapting the screenplay, which IM Global CEO Stuart Ford is looking to take into production in early 2012. Ford will produce alongside Brian Kavanaugh-Jones of Automatik, IM Global’s production joint venture with Alliance Films, and Kiki Miyake.
