Stanley Kubrick's classic adaptation of the Stephen King novel. Down- on-his-luck writer, Jack Torrance, takes on the job of live-in caretaker of the isolated Overlook Hotel when it closes for the winter.
After a series of visions and strange happenings, Jack is overcome by the supernatural presence in the haunted hotel and descends into madness.
