1097. A pair of Chinese eggshell porcelain armorial teabowls, c.1735, decorated with the arms of Murray quartering Hepburn, Baronets of Glendoich, within panels on a grey diaper ground, gilded with large peony sprays, one cracked in half, 7.1cm.

The title for this family became extinct in 1774 on the death of the fifth Baronet, Sir Alexander Hepburn-Murray.


1098. Two Chinese armorial small bowls, 2nd half 18th century, one a rare bowl decorated with the crest of George III above Masonic, c.1775, the other with the arms of Fane, Earls of Westmorland, c.1795, some damages, 10.9cm. (2)

Admiral Sir George Pocock, for whom the service was made, was a distinguished sailor, whose monument is in Westminster Abbey.


1100. Three Chinese armorial coffee cups, 18th century, one decorated with the arms of Pole, one with an unidentified armorial, perhaps the arms of the Earls of Erne, the latter with a lion crest amidst butterflies hovering above iris, a small rim chip to one, 6.8cm. (3)
