Stonehouse Restaurant is located in Rancho Murieta, CA ~ right off Highway 16 on your way to the Amador County Wineries, Sutter Creek & Jackson.


November, 2010, Pete McKenzie & wife Shannon took ownership of the local Fine Dining Restaurant known as Stonehouse Bistro & Wine Bar.


Since taking over, they’ve made some changes aimed at accommodating local demand while preserving the quality they feel was established under the previous owners.


With a focus on “Premier Service” like:  Reduced prices  Broadening selections of food & wine  Providing delivery


 Offering more dining opportunities by opening the bistro for more seating

Since purchasing the restaurant, the McKenzies have invested in some new kitchen equipment, begun reducing some prices on wine and lunch entrees, upgraded the coffee to Starbucks & now serve Brita-filtered water with lemon.


Utilizing as many local vendors as possible, (there are many to choose from) like:
