FERRIES


Two separate services across the River Dart between Dartmouth and Kingswear operate from breakfast time to late evening. There is a third service carrying passengers only.

A passenger ferry operates between Kingsbridge (Promenade steps or Boatyard, according to tide) and Salcombe (Ferry Inn pier) from May to Sept with sailings according to tide. At Salcombe the passenger ferry from the town across the estuary to East Portlemouth runs from 8am to 7pm during the summer and half hourly from 8am to 5.30 pm, in the Winter.
