FAME Future Alabama
The Alabama Music Educators are beginning a new and exciting program targeting 11th and 12th grade students who have expressed an interest in music education. A one- day seminar will be held in
conjunction with the AMEA In-service confer- ence for these students to meet and interact with current music educators. Highlights of the seminar will include sessions on: “The Road to College - PAVING THE WAY"; “Where Do I Go? How Do I Get There? and, Who Is Going To Help Me With All Of This Paperwork?”; “I Loved Being in Band, Chorus, and Orchestra! Will I Love Being a Music Educator?”
Music Educators
There will be a luncheon with special guest speaker, Fran Page, President of the Southern Division of MENC. The seminar, provided at no costs to students, will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2006 from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM in Tuscaloosa. Lunch will be provided.
