Sea to Sky Country
Northeast of Metro Vancouver is Sea to Sky Country and the famous resort area of Whistler, home to many of the events for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Whistler is a skier’s dream! The drive to Whistler on Highway 99 along Howe Sound offers stun- ning vistas of towering rock faces that plunge into the sea, mountains of glimmering ice, sparkling lakes and immense natu- ral forests.
