CLASSIC BELLANCA AIRCRAFT ASSETS FOR SALE
• FAA APPROVED TYPE DESIGN DATA FOR BELLANCA/AALLC SUPER VIKING, VIKING, MODEL 260 AND CRUISEMASTER (TYPE CERTIFICATES A18CE AND 1A3) • MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT, TOOLING & FUSELAGE/WING ASSEMBLY FIXTURES • PARTS/ASSEMBLIES WORK PROCESSING & QUALITY CONTROL DOCUMENTATION • SUPER VIKING FINAL ASSEMBLY WORK PROCESSING AND QC DOCUMENTATION • INVENTORY PARTS INCLUDING 1971 SUPER VIKING (IN RESTORATION) & NEW SUPER VIKING FUSELAGE FRAME (IN ASSEMBLY THRU FABRIC) WITH SET OF NEW WINGS.
The Bellanca Super Viking is known for its tradition of superior craftsmanship and attention to detail that has earned it a unique place in General Aviation history. The Bellanca Super Viking combines its classic design, legendary handling qualities and outstanding performance with state-of-the-art avionics to offer a time proven modern aircraft with roots in the Golden Age of Aviation.
In May of 2002 several former employees of Bellanca Aircraft Corporation and Bellanca Inc organized a company called Alexandria Aircraft LLC (AALLC) and purchased the assets of Bellanca Inc. They have since provided parts and service support to owners of Bellanca aircraft, expert wood repair for the wood components of these classic airplanes, and build one new airplane. The next logical step requires staffi ng a custom made airplane fi nal assembly work station / QC System and acquiring an FAA Production Certifi cate. The assets offered herein have the technical data to accomplish this goal, but AALLC simply does not have the fi nancial resources to achieve it. They, therefore, are offering their Bellanca assets for sale so the next owner of these assets can move the Bellanca adventure forward.
There are fi ve major opportunities for growth: 1) im- prove parts sales for all models with an aggressive marketing campaign; 2) market the company as the best place to have maintenance on Bellanca aircraft
®
performed; 3) retrofi t and refurbish older airplanes; 4) obtain a Production Certifi cate to produce custom made Super Vikings; 5) introduce kit planes based on the TC 1A3 Cruisemaster.
Viewing the assets will be done by appointment with the seller’s representative between April 1-30, 2010. Written bids compliant with “Sellers Bid Package” will be accepted until May 12, 2010 whereupon the three highest bidders will be entered into an immediate oral auction along with any other written bids that are within 20% of the highest written bid. AALLC reserves the right to reject any and all bids and modify the above terms upon mutual agreement with the successful bidder. Todd Roth has been retained to act as the intermediary for AALLC and will qualify bidders. If you are interested in submitting a written bid, please contact Mr Roth at the following offi ce to obtain a “Sellers Bid Package”, additional information and to arrange a time to visit the Bellanca factory to see the assets for yourself.
