SHORT FILM PROGRAMME
LonG sHoRts/sHoRt LonGs
Each year we stipulate 15 minutes as our maximum length for short film.
However, we saw some impressive ‘longer shorts’ this year and invited
them to screen with us. So here’s four films that tell their stories well but
need just that little bit longer, for a short. Enjoy!
sAt 2nd MAY
11.15AM ARcAdIA
A surreal drama of dark comedy and intrigue, in a
fully realised cardboard city-world. Keith’s computer
has started talking back. Clarence, who he shares
an office with, is writing a Second Bible. There are
noises in the ducts these days. clarence reassures us
that, ‘Soon, everything will be different’.

The lives of a group of people is documented as
they await humanity’s demise. Signs of a mysterious
happening from the past alter the Turin skyline as
the countdown continues.

Angeles, Bernie, a lowly pharmacy clerk, decides he
can make everything better if he can kill the mayor.
The only thing standing in Bernie’s way is himself.
He has 3 days to build up the courage to... do it.
