WINDOW COLOUR TRENDS
Nature’s a key theme in interiors, so foliage of
every type is blossoming in curtain fabric designs.
Naturally, green’s a key colour choice.
Jo Cassabois, owner of bespoke curtain and blind
experts Pret A Vivre, says green brings spring into
the home. “Opt for the soft yellowy greens to lift and
reflect light, with aqua greens and duck egg blues.
Alternatively, grey is a wonderful springboard colour,
which is chic without being overpowering. It can
be used for a whole curtain, or as a border, trim,
or for accessories, and works well with aubergine,
maroon, pistachio greens, duck egg blues, as well
as orange and yellow.”
WINNING WINDOW TIPS
When styling a window it’s essential to consider its
shape, size, position and aspect, Moore says.
“The treatment you choose should suit the
proportions and design of the window - so stand
back and study your window closely so you’re
sure the treatment you want will fit and be practical
before you go out and shop.”
