This CD-ROM draws on the themes of the Write Away! television programmes, which
demonstrate the importance of writing and develop essential, practical skills. This colourful
CD-ROM sets writing challenges for the user such as: writing persuasively, writing an
explanation, descriptive writing, poetry and writing stories. With help from the animated
Writing Rescuers, Mousey and Larry, children embark on their journey around the Isle of
Write where they meet a variety of situations and characters, each of whom needs some
sort of written help.
