FINAL THOUGHTS
The Dana Point Chamber of Commerce’s legacy began in 1948 when community leaders saw the need and opportunity to work together so all could benefi t from
a coordinated eff ort to improve both economic and community development. Since then, our diverse Chamber members and dedicated volunteers have spent countless hours working together to shape our unique and vibrant city.
As we celebrate our 69th anniversary, I am proud to say the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce continues to be dedicated to bringing people together to help our businesses and community grow.
On the horizon, Dana Point will see developments in the Lantern District, plans to improve Doheny Village and major revitalization eff orts in the Dana Point
Harbor. As our city grows, the Chamber will be an active participant in advocating for our members and ensuring our businesses have a voice in the com- munity. It is essential to work, and plan, together with common goals and united leadership. Together we are stronger and I encourage you to join us in determining the future of our great city—Dana Point.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff and our members, I thank you for your interest in Dana Point and our Chamber of Commerce. For those joining our membership, welcome to
the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce. It is a great honor to serve as your 2016 Dana Point Chamber of Commerce Chairman and I am proud to represent this body of devoted business owners and enthusiastic community members in shaping our business commu- nity for this and future generations. —Mits Arayama, Chairman of the Board, Minuteman Press
