The Hearthstone Restaurant, founded in 1989, is located in the heart of Breckenridge one block east of Main Street on the corners of Ridge and Washington. The building, a former residence, is a lovely Victorian home built in the 1880s. As you walk through the door you will be transported to another time and place. The decor is what you would expect in a home of this period and many of the pictures which adorn the walls of the Victorian Lounge were left by former residents.

Seasonal farm-to-table fare is featured, emphasizing ingredients from Colorado and surrounding states whenever possible. Executive Chef Michael Halpin and Sous Chef Jim Zoeller head a team of culinary professionals with well over one hundred years of combined experience. Nearly everything is made from scratch from the finest ingredients, with the primary goal in mind to exceed guests’ expectations.

Menu highlights include: Colorado Cherry & Fig Flatbread, Colorado Goat Cheese Chile Relleno, Colorado Rack of Lamb, Blackberry Elk, Harris Ranch Filet, Colorado Striped Bass, Cake & Shake, and Sticky Toffee Pudding

The casual elegance of the front of the house is enhanced by knowledgeable and professional staff that enjoy engaging with guests. The New World Wine List is comprised of more than 200 wines and has received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence every year since 1997. The Zagat Survey Award of Distinction has been received annually since 1999.

Dine in one of four dining rooms or on the patio, weather permitting, and enjoy the spectacular views of the Ten Mile Range and Breckenridge Ski Area.
