Cobra releases new King Forged Irons

precision. The King Forged CB/MB Combo Irons were designed

C

for the Tour through to three-handicap golfer. They feature a five-step forging process that yields a more precise shape, which was developed with feedback from PGA Tour star Rickie Fowler, a more aligned grained structure and tighter weight tolerance. A co-forged tungsten toe weight positions the Centre of Gravity (CG) directly behind the hitting zone in the centre of the face, delivering precision shot making. The Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Milled Faces and Grooves deliver maximum spin and trajectory control. The Forged Combo set (cavity back (CB) mid & long

irons + muscle back (MB) short irons & wedges) comes in a Diamonised Black Metal Finish (DMB) around a Forged 1025 Carbon Steel Body. The stock set composition is 4-6 (CB), 7-PW (MB) and comes equipped with Steel KBS Tour C-Taper shaſts and Lamkin UTX Grips. A full set of MB irons are also available through custom as well as full sets of CB irons (both available in RH only). A chrome version of these irons will be available for purchase in 2016.

GolfBuddy continues its support for the PGA’s of Europe

G

olfBuddy has renewed its support for

the PGAs of Europe as its ‘Official Handheld GPS Rangefinder’ and Corporate Partner. By working with

the PGAs of Europe on a wide range of initiatives, Golf- Buddy is promoted to PGAs, their mem- bers and golfers across Europe. John Ennis, Golf-

Buddy head of global sales and marketing, said: “The PGAs of Europe has a fresh, new look and is building an impressive multi-media communications platform, with international reach.

“It is sometimes difficult for brands to engage on an individual basis with the so-called

smaller PGAs, or their members, especially in countries where golf is in its early stages of development. “We are Europe’s leading golf distance measuring device (DMD) company, with distribu- tion in almost every country in mainland Europe with laser and/or hand held GPS, and we believe working with the PGAs of Europe will enable us to showcase GolfBuddy and the benefits of DMDs to that audience in a strong and cohesive way. We are delighted to renew our agreement with them.” GolfBuddy has already worked on a new partner channel on www.pgae.com, which

contains information, news, videos and other important information about the brand and its products. Ian Randell, Chief Executive of the PGAs of Europe, commented: “The PGAs of Europe is

very pleased to be continuing the partnership with GolfBuddy as our ‘Official Handheld GPS Rangefinder’. Our continued cooperation is of real benefit to both parties and this ex- tension will allow the introduction of an exclusive European-wide offer for PGA Profes- sionals.”
