Climate change eff ects us all, and scuba divers are often lucky, or unlucky, enough to get a unique perspective of the changes that are happening all around us. Years Of Living Dangerously is a TV series that largely went under the radar upon broadcast in 2014; its recent release on DVD and digital download, however, have made it one to watch. A second season is also on the way. The premise is simple: a team of correspondents
including Harrison Ford, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jessica Alba, Matt Damon, and Don Cheadle, amongst others, investigate diff erent aspects and eff ects of climate change. The series is incredibly well-made, as you’d expect from Executive Producer James Cameron, beautifully shot, well researched and often touching. Winner of the 2014 Outstanding Nonfi ction Series Emmy Award, and held in huge critical acclaim, the series is a compelling, fresh, high-end look into the way we are treating our planet. Watching Harrison Ford put the President of Indonesia in a tight spot is not only great TV, it is a refreshing and much-needed change from the slurry of reality TV shows currently on air.
