Rebreather controllers aren’t always the most desirable of diving gadgets, but the new 2020Vision colour display doesn’t just look great, it’s almost enough to make open circuit divers take the plunge into the rebreather market. Available as an upgrade for existing Inspiration rebreather divers, or as standard on all new Inspiration models. An ultra bright, high resolution display that delivers real time information directly from your Inspiration. T e 2020Vision has a larger screen than its predecessor, but in a smaller, low profi le housing with a wider viewing angle, achieved by way of an IPS liquid crystal display. An intuitive graphical layout and coloured graphics help communicate important information at-a-glance. Bluetooth connectivity will help you download dive info to a PC, and a kevlar-reinforced cable off ers reassuring strength and durability. Long battery life, 3,000 dive hour log capacity, selectable colour themes, and - for those with a little more artistic fl are - the user can design a custom theme of his or her own. Defi nitely a niche piece of gear, but an important step forward by this prominent rebreather manufacturer that has a habit of raising the bar.
