Recognizing the Best Communicators in Our Affiliates

MOAA takes time every year to recognize affiliates that do a great job communicating with their members. This year, MOAA received 196 entries in seven categories of competition for the 2014 Col. Marvin J. Harris Communications Award contest. A panel of judges convened at MOAA headquarters in mid-March and carefully reviewed every entry before selecting the winners. First-place winners in the print newsletter category are included here, along with a winning recruiting brochure. Top websites also are identified, along with the names of editors and webmasters with winning entries.
