evangelistic outreach effort of the Baptist Churches of Vietnam. BFWED grants helped to plant the Krang Chen Baptist Church in Cambodia. The Community of Baptist Churches in the Democratic Republic of the Congo received support to plant 10 new churches. BWA supported Radical
Latino, a
ministry of the Union of Baptists in Latin America, by aiding in the planting of four churches in Ecuador and one in both Colombia and Peru. Additional support was given to existing but small and weak churches – three in Chile, two in Colombia and one each in Bolivia and Venezuela. In Brazil, through a program called Transcopa, support was extended to
the Brazilian Baptist Convention in
its evangelism outreach during the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Approximately 3,000 volunteers from various Latin American countries participated. In Togo, assistance was given for the publication of La Lumière pour le Sentier (The Light for Path), to help meet the need for Christian education and discipleship materials
among African francophone Baptists. The BWA shipped 50 copies of
the book, Biblical Model for Evangelism- 1st Century Strategies for the 21st Church, to the Andhra Pradesh Christian College in India, for a training seminar on evangelism for the college’s students. The BWA met various needs through
emergency relief and development projects and programs, spending and dispensing approximately US$5 million from July 2010 to the end of 2014.
