The Spliethoff Group manages a large and modern fleet of well over 100 multipurpose, heavy-lift and ro-ro vessels ranging in size from 2,100 to 23,000 tonnes. The Spliethoff Group managed vessels have 1A Ice Class and several even 1A SUPER. They all sail under the Dutch flag. To ensure its customers have access to the latest technology in shipping the fleet is constantly being renewed. Recently four F- type vessels and six M-type vessels were added to the fleet. freight shipping service between Cleveland Harbor and the Port of Antwerp in Europe via the Saint Lawrence Seaway has begun in the Spring of 2014. Expectations are high as this is a further attempt of a Great Lakes Port to break through the elusive barrier in establishing a regular liner service connecting international ports with their home
