Charles R. Ott Jr. steps down as TMLT president
Texas Medical Liability Trust (TMLT) an- nounced in April that Charles R. “Chip” Ott Jr. would be stepping down from his role as TMLT’s president and chief executive officer, effective June 30, to dedicate more time to his family. Under Mr. Ott’s leadership, TMLT has demon- strated substantial growth as an innova- tive, client-focused provider of medical liability insurance for Texas health care professionals. “Working with TMLT’s expert staff and board of directors to solidify TMLT as the premier medical liability carrier in Texas and beyond has been one of the true highlights of my career,” Mr. Ott said. “I am confident that the fu- ture achievements of TMLT, in both the short and long term, promise to take this company to even greater heights.
