WE LIFT! 2014 Membership Drive


From April 1-May 30, 2014, USA Weightlifting will be conducting our United We Lift contest. The contest is a challenge for our clubs to gain as many new USA Weight- lifting members as possible between April 1 and May 30, 2014. The club with the most new members will receive a free domestic round trip ticket; second place will be 20 Red Carpet Club passes; and third place will be 15 Red Carpet Club passes. The winners will be announced in our next magazine. Good luck!


2014 COACHES LIABILITY


INSURANCE PROGRAM USA Weightlifting has received many requests and suggestions from our Coaching membership asking to develop a Coaches General Liability Program. Well, you asked, and we listened! USA Weightlifting has worked diligently with our insurance partner, Entertainment & Sports Insurance eXperts (ESIX), to establish a USA Weightlifting Certified Coaches General Liability Policy. The program cost is $55 per coach per calendar year (Jan. 1, 2014-Dec. 31, 2014) and will provide coverage to protect insured current USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sport Performance Coaches (or higher) from third party claims of bodily injury, property damage, personal injury and advertising injury due to alleged negligence arising from coaching or officiating activities.
