The Tourism Authority of Thailand has long supported the trade and the current crop of roadshows and increased social media activity will have you selling the destination with even more confi dence. TAT recommends that agents particularly brush up on popular multi-centre itineraries which are diffi cult to book direct.
MULTIMEDIA HELP TAT already has a successful Thailand Reunited consumer Facebook page (
Facebook.com/fanclubthailand). But it's now just launched trade-dedicated Facebook page ‘Sawasdee Club.’ This site works as a one-stop-shop, supplying useful statistics and links to online training, a multi-media library and YouTube TV channel (youtube. com/thailandreunited), with inspirational images and fi lms which can be shared with consumers. Brochures, maps, and posters can also be requested and there’ll be regular competitions. “Our Sawasdee Club Facebook page is the place to visit for anything you want to know about Thailand. If you go on a fam trip then please come and share your pictures and experiences of Thailand,” says TAT’s UK trade marketing manager, Chris Lee.
