Local schools activities


Do you want to get involved in local educational activities or even start something new? Our IET members do a lot of work with schools and colleges. If you want to support STEM-based education in your area or have a good idea for a local education project, you could work with your Local Network’s Schools Liaison Officer (SLO) to explore volunteering opportunities or to bid for project funding from our grant schemes.


Exciting opportunities to broaden your reach


As an IET Academic Partner you’ll receive a sample pack of our collection of schools outreach resources, including classroom posters, careers materials and the award-winning Flipside magazine for teenagers. Further copies of these can be ordered from our IET Faraday website to assist you in your outreach work with schools.
