TGIF We asked our Facebook fans what their dream destination for a weekend trip would be and, as snow was falling outside Rapid’s office, Sabine Bernal wrote that she’d like to paddle somewhere with warmer weather—hope you had better luck than we did, Sabine! Others echoed warm water wishes and offered suggestions for those seeking sun. “Somewhere south,” wrote Tanya Ann Dias, “I hear Ecuador is beautiful this time of
year…and Chile!” Tommy Allen joined the discussion to say a paddling trip to “just about ANYWHERE would make [him] REALLY happy!” Rapid readers chimed in with answers that covered all corners of the earth, including Slovenia, New Zealand, North Carolina and Southern France, but others wanted to go even further. “Mars! There is water!” wrote Josh Flynn.
