The Hall of Fame Two fat Virgin ladies
Competition time Caitlin Fowler, 6, daughter of star reporter Ryan, and illustrator of this month’s superb front cover picture on equity release takes the limelight on our red carpet this month.
Train journeys are mostly dull, cramped and nev- er amusing or so the Mortgage Introducer team thought when they travelled up north to interview the guys at Bridgebank Capital. Publishing editor Robyn Hall, bored from lis-
tening to reporter Sam Cordon’s latest soap up- dates and recent shoe purchases, lost credit cards and the like, was relieved to hear the Virgin shop assistant announce a round of buff et car bingo. Hall, no stranger to a fl utter, shot straight up to buy his regular cardboard bacon roll so he could enter his seat number in the draw. But, on the edge of his seat as the numbers were
gleefully called out, his hopes of scooping the big prize were soon shot to pieces. Sadly the exclusive prizes went to a group of
guys on their way to Manchester’s Pride Festival. Hall did seem somewhat less disappointed
when the camp as Christmas assistant delivered the prizes in person with a cheeky wink and a round of applause. Lucky escape the HoF would say.
Right on time
Esteemed Mortgage Introducer leader Robyn Hall is never one for being, ahem, late. T ere was the time he missed his fl ight to Paris for the Rugby World Cup fi nal in 2007 and had to hotfoot it over on the Eurostar; the time he nearly missed his fl ight to Monaco; the time he nearly missed the coach to Dover and had to taxi it to a service station to rendezvous on the M3; the time he... Well not any- more. Hall has invested in the “Sonic Bomb” – a turbo charged loud, vibrating alarm clock which its makers say promises to “shake you awake with powerful bed shaker and adjustable loud alarm”. T e HoF will believe it when we see it. It’s been sat on his desk for the past fortnight.

Ms Fowler spent some work experience at Introducer Towers over the summer and painstakingly produced her excellent artwork which has a heavy Picasso influence.
Indeed, as the great Pablo himself once said: “It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child.”
Which got the HoF thinking. Can your son, daughter or their friends design their own front cover for Mortgage Introducer? All they have to do is come up with a drawing that reflects or depicts any of the following: finance; housing; banking; money; mortgages or property.
Our competition is open for all primary school
children and the winning entry will feature on the front cover of the July 2014 (or later) issue of Mortgage Introducer.
To enter artwork should be submitted on A4 paper and sent in a hard backed envelope to Robyn Hall, Publishing Editor, Mortgage Introducer, Fergusson House, 124-128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NJ. Unfortunately submissions cannot be returned so high resolution scans will be accepted and should be sent to
robyn@mortgageintroducer.com All entries, along with the winner, will feature within a future issue of the magazine. The closing date for entries is May 1st 2014.
Congratulations to reader Simon John Gavin posing here in Penzance, Cornwall
