“We’re fi refi ghters, so we have a brotherhood,” Chief Reynolds stresses. Part of that brotherhood for the chief and other Christian fire and emergency responders is to share copies of Answering the Call with their fellow first responders and read through the highlighted testimonies.
“We share a little bit about who we are and what we have experienced so that we’re on the same ground. Next thing you know, they’re asking, ‘Could I have one for one of my buddies, too’. . . We’ve seen changes, just dramatic, from people, [and soon] they want to share Answering the Call with their brothers and sisters in the
firehouse, because that’s their family. They want to read about it, and then they want to put it into practice. That’s where God gets going.”
