INCOMING BUYER PROGRAM - a Unique Function of the International Business Center: Your Gateway to High-End Agricultural Deals


Launched in 2009 with the support of


Western Economic Diversification Canada and the Saskatchewan Ministry of the Economy, the Incoming Buyer Program is aimed at connecting international dealers and buyers with Canadian exporters while reducing some of the costs and risks associated with new market development. The International Business Center (IBC) pro-


gram facilities on-site business deals by pro- viding US and international agriculture technol- ogy buyers with a full suite of business servic- es, including assistance with hotel reservations, ground transportation to the show and airport,


private meeting rooms and comprehensive business services at the show’s International Business Center. Visitors can also take advan- tage of the business 2 business matchmaking service - to set up meetings between Canadian sellers and US and international buyers. CFPS is also offering travel assistance to


qualified international buyers and dealers. Under the program, CFPS will reimburse up to 50% of travel costs (airfare or gas mileage) for applicants who will be visiting the show for the first time and can source products and services from Western Canadian companies.
