We have expanded Wyndford Holsteins rapidly from 100 cows in 2010 to 220 cows currently, averaging 10,000 litres from a TMR system and calving all year round.


We breed everything to Holstein and include around 15-25 young bull services each year. I’ve been a supporter of Visions for about 7 years as it offers us genomic young bulls from good solid cow families and with the right sire stacks for our purpose. We are aiming to breed functionally correct balanced cows, with chest width, legs and feet, and udders as our priorities.


Our future plans are to expand further, maintain the best possible herd health accreditations and be in a position to sell surplus heifers to like-minded milk producers.
