Neva Wickstrom (inset) of Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, New Hope, Minn., is one of many volunteers who gather once a month to pack 2,580 weekend snack packs for students. To meet community needs, several congregations formed Bonfire Ministry (and a larger Wildfire Ministry), which leaders say is reflective of the spirit of a new Pentecost and a desire to take ministry into the world.
