Total Arts Day Camp 2013
Total Arts Day Camp, established in 1971, is a unique and memorable experience for any young artist! Join visiting artists and art instructors for an immersive contemporary art experience. Create art as groups and individuals for traditional and experimental projects.
Previous projects have included printmaking, life drawing, public art installations, environmental sculptures, photography, painting, stop-action animation, flying machines, and more! The focus of the camp is to introduce creative problem- solving, technical skills, and have fun making art. To celebrate their work with family and friends, each session ends with a mini-exhibition and reception. At the end of summer, instructors curate an all- sessions exhibition, showcasing the highlights of each session.
Session I, Grades 1 & 2: June 17 – 28 Session II, Grades 3 & 4: June 17 – 28 Session III, Grades 1 & 2: July 8 – 19 Session IV, Grades 3 & 4: July 8 – 19 Session V, Grades 5 & 6: August 5 – 16 Session VI, Grades 7 & 8: August 5 – 16
(all sessions 9:30 am – 3:00 pm)
Kids Art Summer Camp (ages 4-6) June 10 – 14, 10:00 – 11:30 am July 22 – 26, 10:00 – 11:30 am August 19 – 23, 10:00 – 11:30 am
