COACH AWARD USA Weightlifting’s National events show case the strength of our countries top athletes and allow them to compete against one another for the title of Champion. An athlete’s path to success can be long and full of trials, but would not be possible without the guidance and support of a coach.


At the 2013 Junior National Championships in Fos- ter City, California USA Weightlifting will be unveil- ing a new medal for the coach of each National Champion. The “Gold Medal Coach” award will be presented by the athlete who earns the title of Na- tional Champion to their coach as a symbolic way of recognizing their passion, guidance and support.
