CADAC HAS announced a restructuring of the operational management at its Bedfordshire, UK headquarters. David Kan (pictured, left) has been appointed CEO while Nick Fletcher becomes director of research and development. Kan has been acting general

manager since the departure of Bob Thomas in 2011, while executive powers rested largely with the group executive management in Ningbo. With Kan’s appointment these powers are once again vested in Cadac HQ, reasserting the company’s operational autonomy, particularly in the areas of expenditure, planning,

forecasting and development. Kan will continue to manage and strengthen the relationships between the two sites, in order to accelerate product development and provide Cadac with access to engineering and production resources at Ningbo.

Fletcher has been a member

of the Cadac engineering team for over 20 years, originally joining the company as a test engineer, going on to become a console design engineer and working closely with co-founder Clive Green on the design of the J-Type, F-Type and R-Type consoles. He will now lead the product development schedule. www.cadac-sound.com
