Welcome to our warm, friendly and inclusive family of learners.
At Kirkleatham Hall School, we believe that
every person is important and has a part to play in making us a special school. It is through this belief that we aim to promote equality of opportunity for pupils with a wide range of learning difficulties, including those with autistic spectrum disorder.
Led by the individual needs of each child, our expert and enthusiastic staff believe in ‘Unlocking Potential’. They do this by providing a personalised approach to learning for pupils aged three to ninteen, all of whom are constantly challenged and encouraged to achieve their best. Situated in a conservation area within the delightful and historic village of Kirkleatham,
we aim to provide a safe, secure and purposeful environment in which all of our pupils can thrive. Our first-class facilities and outstanding quality of care are designed to meet both the needs of differing groups of pupils and to enhance their learning experience, while minimising any barriers to learning. Well-equipped classrooms provide appropriate levels of stimulation, while specialist programmes and therapies support our pupils’ physical and sensory needs. The use of iPads, communication aids, switches, touch screens and other state-of- the-art technologies all help to reinforce pupils’ learning and to promote independence. The result is that, from primary school through to our further education department, all our young people make exceptional progress.
