What fun and creative way will you engage children
in theChristmas story this year?
Did you know that 83% of Christians make a commitment to Christ between the ages of 4 & 14?
You can almost hear the ba-aa-aa-ing of sheep and feel the scratchy canvas of ancient-styled tents at Bethlehem Revisited, an interactive re-creation of the town of Bethlehem from 2,000 years ago. Hosted by First United Methodist Church of Coral Springs, Fla., the annual event attracts 10,000-plus people during the Christmas season and features a Living Nativity, Roman soldiers, storytellers, and authentic shops from Jesus’ day.
“
We give the A Make & Do Christmas to all the kids who come through, and that sparks curiosity, and they go home and work with the activities,” explains Bernie Peterman, offi ce manager for the church. “It helps kids remember what Christmas is all about.
