Isabela II has three decks, Main, Cabin, and Sun. The Sun Deck features a bar with deck chairs for outdoor seating, an observation deck for watching wildlife at leisure, a Jacuzzi, and a solarium. Her experienced 24-member team consists of Ecuadorian officers, naturalists and crew members and a resident physician. Aboard the vessel, expedition and naturalist guides share their experience and knowledge with guests to enrich their travel experience by offering perspectives on a wide variety of topics related to the diverse animal, marine and plant life – and unique geological formations – of the Galápagos Archipelago. Cuisine aboard the ship is a combination of Continental and Ecuadorian. Days are spent on Tauck’s all-included shore excursions on the islands, with transfers to and from the ship by inflatable Zodiac boats. Isabela II carries her own glass-bottom boat for observing marine life in the crystal island waters.
