LONDON’S Bank Holiday colossus, SW4, has grown in stature each year, trying new things along the way and improving with every one. Now in its eighth year, last year saw its fi rst ever live headline acts (Pendulum and Underworld) over two days for the second time since 2010, and this year the capital’s biggest dance fest is clearly still evolving. For the fi rst time ever, two bass artists (Chase & Status and Skrillex) will top the bill alongside the usual allstar techno, house and trance cast, opening a new chapter for a festival with a progressive music policy still moving

Stages hosted by Paul Van Dyk’s Evolution, It’s All Gone Pete Tong and, of course, us, a healthy stock of underground talent, plus heroic performances from favourites Carl Cox and Digweed make SW4 the date of the summer for London’s shade-donning, raving-mad elite.
