8Fs, one more is expected later this year and two more are to be delivered during 2013.


THE FREIGHT forwarding division of logistics services giant Norbert Dentressangle has launched Red Sky Con- nect, a door-to-door air freight delivery offering. Initially, it will be available


on routes connecting China to Europe and the Americas, from Latin America to Europe and the US, and from the US to Europe. Further routes are expected


to be added as the forwarder’s overseas network grows. Norbert Dentressangle is


offering supplier consolidation at origin, Customs manage- ment and daily direct and indirect flights. For European destinations,


it will also provide onward dis- tribution through its road transport network, offering a door-to-door service. Norbert Dentressangle has

IAG CARGO, the entity formed by the merger of British Air- ways World Cargo and Iberia Cargo, is to market the cargo bellyhold space of Barcelona-based low-cost carrier Vueling. In a two-year agreement, Iberia Cargo will become the general agent for the space offered by Vueling’s A320 fleet.


TURKISH AIRLINES is threatening to pull out of its 49 per- cent holding in BH Airlines after the Bosnian government said it cannot afford to put any more money into the joint venture.


ASIA AIRFREIGHT Terminal, which handles cargo for a number of airlines at Hong Kong International airport, pro- cessed 65,929 tonnes of freight in March, a drop of 4 percent on the same month of last year.
