Please attend this special event to salute our newest generation of Veterans. Join us in our Theatre fi rst to hear Gen Joseph F. Dunford, Jr., USMC, current Assistant Com mandant of the Marine Corps, speak
on the importance of these two wars. Gen Dunford was the Commander of the 5th Marine Regiment in the 1st Marine Division for the invasion of Iraq in March and April 2003. His Regiment was the focus of efforts to liberate Baghdad. On his second tour in Iraq, March-August 2004, he was Chief of Staff for the 1st Marine Division for the 1st Battle of Fallujah. After Gen Dunford’s talk, all Iraq and Af- ghanistan Veterans are invited to join him for a reception on the Club’s 10th fl oor.
